I love everything about the beach and summer.  So when I signed up for the Vermilion Beach Market last year, it was the perfect show for me.  Right on the beach at Sherod Park in beautiful Vermilion.  What a phenomenal two day event it was!  So I will be there again this year and I cannot wait.  Handmade, vintage items and more, even a VW Bus display on Saturday!  You gotta check it out!

Crossbody bags are here!

Just in time for the upcoming summer season of flea markets, farmer’s markets and concerts.   The new Cosmo Crossbody keeps you hands free.  Made from genuine cowhide leather, with a turn lock closure.  Removable silver link chain strap can convert this bag to a clutch.  Perfect size for the essentials.  Snag one at one of my summer markets!

GBT Gems!

I have been wanting to expand my line for a while now.  While I was looking at all my scrap leather, the thought of throwing it away made me upset, some pieces were so small.  Then I had a thought…earrings!  I’m not by any means a jewelry designer, but just shapes in leather would make cute, lightweight ear candy.  I made a few and really enjoyed it.  Catch them this summer at my shows.  Grab a pair to go with your new GBT bag!

Spring is here!

Now starts the busy show season!  I am excited to have three awesome shows coming up!  First a pop-up at ARZ Salon , just in time for Mother’s Day.  A spring art show at the Screw Factory and a market day at a winery!  It’s gonna be a great spring!

Sweet Memories

I’ve been wanting to share a photo that my parents had of me in my crib with purses hanging from the crib post.  They were bags that my Grandma Buza gave to me and would always give to me everytime we would visit.  They were her church purses that she didn’t want anymore.  I believe she did that so she could buy more.   She was a shopper.   She would put a little make-up and nail polish in the bag for me to take home and play with.  She was always into glamour, skin care, exercise, clothes and always looking your best.  She was honest and some times tough, but always loving.  She was also an avid gardener.   I was so fortunate to inherit her very cool 70’s coats and hats, but mostly, a lot of her traits.  I miss her.  Kisangyalom – Hungarian for my little angel.
